Shandong Hailongyuan Bio-tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hailongyuan”) is a leading marine biotechnology enterprise in China that has mastered core production technologies for over 20 products in four major categories: small molecule protein peptides, chitosan oligosaccharides, Antarctic krill oil, and featured products such as deep processed sea cucumber, and has achieved large-scale production.

1.Collaborating R&D with top universities and institutes
By collaborating with top universities and research institutes such as the School of Food Science and Engineering at Ocean University of China, the Yellow Sea Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the Qingdao Institute of Marine Food Nutrition and Health Innovation, and the Institute of Metabolic Diseases at Qingdao University, Hailongyuan has reached an international advanced level in the research and development, as well as deep processing of marine biological products. DED (Directional Enzyme Digestion Technology) and MMS(Multiple Membrane Separation Technology) , the two cutting-edge technologies are in a leading position in the world.
2.Qualifications and intellectual property
With respect to qualifications and intellectual property, in May 2025, Hailongyuan’s Antarctic krill oil successfully passed the international IKOS certification. Hailongyuan therefore became the first company whose Antarctic krill oil passes the IKOS certification in China. In addition, we have obtained ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP management system certifications, and hold over 20 patents.
